TACT Scotland carers and staff complete walk for Ukrainian orphans
Carers and members of staff from TACT Scotland recently completed a two mile walk to raise money for The Dnipro Appeal Charity, set up by Hibernian Football Club to support Ukrainian orphans.
The charity was set up in 2005, but has recently focused on helping to evacuate Ukrainian orphans to Scotland and ensure they are well supported once they arrive.
The walks were completed between the 26th June and the 9th of July. As well as raising money for such a worthy cause, the walks were a fantastic opportunity for carers and staff to be active and to socialise. Those who took part will be given a medal for their efforts to help Ukrainian children.
The walk raised £320 which will be matched by TACT. You can still donate to the GoFundMe page here.
