TACT East Midlands gets ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating
The fostering service delivered by TACT’s East Midlands team has been rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted.
The service was praised by inspectors, who stated that ‘Foster carers build strong, trusted relationships with their children. They make remarkable progress due to the skill, dedication and commitment offered by the carers and the supporting TACT team. Children grow and develop in their foster families and are accepted for who they are. This means that children live with their carers for long periods, many until they reach adulthood and beyond. As a result, children have the stability and emotional security they need as they remain part of the family.’
Ramona Catarig, TACT’s Registered Manager for the East Midlands, said: “I am very proud of everyone in our TACT East Midlands team. This ‘outstanding’ Ofsted rating is a testament to our foster families’ hard work and commitment to improving the lives of children and young people. I am privileged to be working with such supportive staff and wonderful foster carers. Well done all!”
Huge congratulations to the East Midlands team, who simply demonstrated the amazing child-centred work they were already doing.
