TACT Chosen As Bromley F.C.’s Supported Charity!

TACT London & The South were proud to be chosen as Bromley F.C.’s supported charity for their match day on 28th February!

It all started when the football club warmly welcomed a group of our foster carers, children and TACT staff to the club for a special behind-the-scenes tour. The group had the fantastic opportunity to explore the stadium, including a visit to the players’ dressing room.

Building on that relationship, Bromley F.C. invited TACT to support their home fixture on Saturday 28th February to help get more people talking about fostering. Colleagues and carers from the London and South East team headed down to the pitch for an excitement-filled day. They all looked wonderful in their TACT T-shirts and hoodies and were even joined by the infamous Raven mascot for some pictures! TACT were very proud to be able to support Bromley F.C. and maybe our presence gave them some extra luck as they won 2-1!

We spoke to many people throughout the day to spread awareness of fostering and who TACT are. Foster carers Bill, Suzy, Steven & Faye all shared how much they enjoyed the day – valuing the opportunity to talk about fostering and encourage others to consider becoming foster carers.

One colleague also said “We all had a great time at Bromley football club; we were made to feel very welcome by the Club and there was lots of interest from the fans”. This was an incredible opportunity for TACT to integrate with the local community and we hope it can inspire more collaborations and partnerships in the future.
