Every year, TACT run a foster carer satisfaction survey in each region, to gain insight into possible areas for improvement, both in the practical day-to-day support service we provide, and in terms of how we communicate with our fantastic teams of foster carers.

We had a fantastic response from our Yorkshire & North East regions, with 100% of our carers saying that they were satisfied with being TACT foster carers.

But the high ratings didn’t stop there. TACT Yorkshire and North East went on to score 100% in the following areas:

• Likely to recommend TACT to a friend or colleague who was thinking of fostering 
• Satisfaction with the support they received from TACT 
• Satisfaction with how they were approached when being considered as a fostering household for a young person

Elsewhere, 95% of our carers said that they were satisfied with how TACT communicates news, updates, and information, and 89% said that they felt able to share their views and feedback with us.

“Seamless assessment process, great communication – they keep prospective carers informed.”  

“Felt supported during the application process and whilst having kids on placement. Care and attention given to matching child’s needs to that of the family.”  

“Easy to contact and very understanding. Always there when you need them.”  

“TACT are like a family – always someone there to talk to and they listen to their foster carers.”
