North East Young People Embrace The Outdoors at Residential
A group of our North East-based young people got to experience some exciting outdoor activities at a residential from 28th-30th July!
Bewerley Park in Harrogate was the destination – chosen for its 80-year history of providing outdoor activities for children and young people, and for its location in an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’.
The trip, which was attended by 18 of our young people, offered a number of activities including mountain biking, paddle boarding, low ropes, a ‘leap of faith’ and rock climbing.
There were also some evening activities such as hide and seek, football, piggy in the middle, pool and table tennis. There was even a TACT Talent Show, which included singers, dancers and magic tricks!
A big ‘thank you’ to the staff at the venue for welcoming us, and also to our Yorkshire and North West teams for organising such an enjoyable and enriching activity that our young people will remember for years to come!
