Connect Support & Guidance
Whilst there’s lots of fun stuff to do with your Connect membership, we also understand that sometimes life can be complicated, so we’ve got the more serious stuff covered too.
We’re here to be alongside you through the good times and the tricky times, which is why there’s also lots of resources, advice and support available to our members.
From the excitement (and trepidation) of taking the next step in your education, career, and living independently, to the more challenging curveballs life might throw your way, we’re here to provide support, help you understand your options, and direct you to other places that may be useful.
There’s even a Connect grant that members can apply for if they need financial assistance!
There’s a dedicated section on our members-only Hub that makes it easy to access helpful information and guidance on a variety of topics, including:
- Leaving care/next steps
- Education
- Housing and living
- Health and wellbeing
- Finance
“I was struggling to find a house that didn’t need a guarantor. Connect helped me feel like I wasn’t alone and helped a lot.”

The Connect team (many of whom are care-experienced) is also available to personally help you with any support you may need.
We’re here to chat on the phone, message over WhatsApp or email, and be alongside you as you navigate life.
You’ll also be able to access the amazing education and employment support that’s offered by our lovely Post-16 Advisor, Megan, who can give you personalised information on apprenticeships, employment, college courses, and university!
Whenever you need us, and for whatever you’re experiencing, we’re here for it all.
