Two TACT foster carers have spoken to Greatest Hits Radio Northants about how fostering provides children with security, safety and hope.

Lesley and Brian, who have fostered for 20 years, told the station that they wanted to use the skills they acquired raising their own children, in order to provide care for over 25 young people.

The couple also told the station about receiving heartwarming letters from children who had left their care: “You don’t expect these things, once the child has gone back to their parents, you expect them just to get on with their lives and forget all about you, but sometimes what you’ve done for children, it really does touch them.”
