TACT Foster Carers Take a Break(fast)!

Our TACT London & South team took some of our foster carers out for a breakfast – in the name of mental health, connection, and community.

Our wellbeing events can take many forms, whether it’s a peaceful walk in a park or a friendly pub lunch. This time we decided to start the day with something simple yet meaningful: a shared breakfast. It was a reminder of how nourishing (literally) it can be to take a pause, share a meal, and spend time with those that make an extraordinary difference to children’s lives.

Our foster carers swapped stories over coffee, offered support where needed, and generally had a wonderful time.

Our team kindly shared some photos:

Wellbeing events are so important, because they bring our local teams together in a physical environment. This provides opportunities to strengthen working relationships and form new friendships. Every one of these connections is a further contribution to a healthier and supportive fostering community.

Here at TACT, wellbeing isn’t just a buzzword – it’s a culture choice, and extends to our young people, foster carers and staff.
