Every year, TACT run a foster carer satisfaction survey in each region, to gain insight into possible areas for improvement, both in the practical day-to-day support service we provide, and in terms of how we communicate with our teams of foster carers.

We had a fantastic response from our London & The East region, with 100% saying that they were generally satisfied with being TACT foster carers.

When asked about the amount of content and training they receive, 100% said that they were satisfied, which is wonderful news!

We also asked about how we communicate news, updates and general information. Again, 100% said they were satisfied.

Providing our foster carers with the support they require to help them change young people’s lives is essential, so hearing that 94% of our carers were satisfied with the support they receive from TACT was reassuring to hear.

Our foster carers were kind enough to also leave us some feedback:

“We are fortunate to have some very supportive social workers, and TACT is a good agency to work for.”  

“Whenever I’ve had a concern or I am worried, I am reassured. Also if I have any questions, they are always helpful, and with answers.” 

“Well organised and supportive team who place the interest of children above everything else, while ensuring that the foster carers are well equipped with various training to enhance their knowledge and skills.” 

“We work together as a team and there is so much opportunity for training, and support groups to learn from each other. We have good leadership too. I feel supported by my supervising social worker and team leader.”
