TACT Yorkshire & North East Regions Rated ‘Good’
TACT’s Yorkshire and North East regions have been rated ‘good’ following a recent Ofsted inspection.
The inspector highlighted that children experience stability with their foster carers, with children speaking positively about their carers and the carers’ supervising social workers. Children also shared that they enjoy these regular visits and that these visits help them get to know the supervising social workers well. Additionally, children appreciate the various types of short breaks available to them.
The inspector also noted that foster carers feel well supported and appreciate the access to wellbeing practitioners and psychologists, which helps to build their resilience and contributes towards their children experiencing stability.
Julia, Ofsted Inspector, said: “During the inspection, I heard some wonderful stories. I must say a big thank you to all the foster carers and children I spoke with. It was a real honour and pleasure to hear about how you are doing and what is working well for you. I loved hearing about things like the activities you get to do and the residential holidays you get to go on.”
“We’re very pleased with the positive feedback from the recent Ofsted inspection and are incredibly proud of the experiences shared by our foster carers and children. Our carers and children remain at the heart of everything we do, and we’re committed to continuing to enhance the support we offer them. A huge thank you to all our wonderful colleagues for their ongoing hard work and dedication.”
