Foster Carer Satisfaction: West Midlands

Every year, TACT run a foster carer satisfaction survey in each region, to gain insight into possible areas for improvement, both in the practical day-to-day support service we provide, and in terms of how we communicate with our teams of foster carers.

We had a fantastic response from our West Midlands region, with 94% of our foster carers saying that they were satisfied with how TACT communicates news, updates, and information.

In addition, 89% said that they felt able to share their views and feedback with TACT.

“We have worked for TACT now for 11 years they have been supportive of us and the children we have had in placement”

84% of our carers said that they were likely to actively recommend TACT to a friend or colleague who was thinking of fostering – which is great news!

Our foster carers were kind enough to also leave us some feedback:

“We have worked for TACT now for 11 years they have been supportive of us and the children we have had in placement.”

“TACT have always been there for us. They have provided excellent advice, guidance and practical support.”

“Real people, supportive and caring staff and Supervising Social Workers.”

“Professional, staff are supportive, and excellent training.”

“The entire TACT team are very caring and supportive to us carers, which makes us feels very satisfied.”

“Because TACT are a family”

A big thank you to our West Midlands team of foster carers for sharing their honest feedback, which will be used to help improve our service in the region.
