Foster Carer Satisfaction: Wales

Every year, TACT run a foster carer satisfaction survey in each region, to gain insight into possible areas for improvement, both in the practical day-to-day support service we provide, and in terms of how we communicate with our teams of foster carers.

We had a fantastic response from our Wales region, with 100% of our foster carers saying that they were satisfied with the support they receive from TACT.

Additionally, 93% said that they were generally satisfied with being TACT foster carers, 93% were satisfied with the amount of content and training offered by TACT and 93% felt that they were able to share their views and feedback with TACT.

“We have been with several foster care agencies since 2011. We have been very happy with the high level of support and help that we have had from everyone within TACT since we moved into Wales.”

90% of carers were satisfied with how TACT communicates news, updates, and information. When asked if they would recommend TACT to friends or family, 89% said that they would – which is great news!

Our foster carers were kind enough to also leave us some feedback:

“We have been with several foster care agencies since 2011. We have been very happy with the high level of support and help that we have had from everyone within TACT since we moved into Wales.”

“The support from TACT has been fantastic. All staff are very friendly, and we have felt very welcomed to the TACT family in our first year as foster carers.”

“My social worker is supportive and is there when I need her.”

“Easy to follow courses which can be tailored to individual needs.”

“We feel very happy to have chosen TACT and would not hesitate to recommend TACT to others.”

“The care you take with everyone involved in the family network is amazing.”

A big thank you to our Welsh team of foster carers for sharing their honest feedback, which will be used to help improve our service in the region.
