Foster Carer Satisfaction: South West

Every year, TACT run a foster carer satisfaction survey in each region, to gain insight into possible areas for improvement, both in the practical day-to-day support service we provide, and in terms of how we communicate with our teams of foster carers.

We had a fantastic response from our South West region, with 92% of our foster carers saying that they were satisfied with the support they receive from TACT.

Additionally, 91% said that they were satisfied with how TACT communicates news, updates, and information, and 91% said that they felt able to share their views and feedback with TACT.

“The support I have received whether in person, on the phone, in training or counselling is second to none. Everyone is so helpful, understanding and kind.”

Our foster carers were kind enough to also leave us some feedback:

“The support we get as a family is nothing short of amazing.”

“We feel well supported, training offered is brilliant, we have good professional relationships.”

“Very supportive, excellent social workers, positive attitude of all the staff.”

“The support I have received whether in person, on the phone, in training or counselling is second to none. Everyone is so helpful, understanding and kind.”

“Excellent supervising social workers and good communication. Child centred and trauma informed.”

“Excellent organisation, always places people before profit.”

A big thank you to our South West team of foster carers for sharing their honest feedback, which will be used to help improve our service in the region.
