Every year, TACT run a foster carer satisfaction survey in each region, to gain insight into possible areas for improvement, both in the practical day-to-day support service we provide, and in terms of how we communicate with our teams of foster carers.

We had a fantastic response from our Scottish region, with 96% of our carers being satisfied with the support they receive from TACT.

In addition, 91% said that they were satisfied with being TACT foster carers.

Our foster carers were kind enough to also leave us some feedback:

“We have received amazing support from our Supervising Social Worker, the Scotland team and beyond – whilst one of our children was experiencing significant health issues. We would not have got through the last 4 years without that support.” 

“Lots of support from my TACT social worker, lots of thought put into matching carer/child, lots of relevant training available and [I am] encouraged.”  

“I feel safe, looked after and listened to.”  

“TACT is one big family and always there for their carers”
