TACT foster carers in the Scottish Sun

TACT foster carers David and Ruth spoke in the Scottish Sun about their experience of fostering and keeping siblings together.

“When I look at the children playing together, I feel like my world has been opened up in a way that bus driving or most other jobs never could. When we see these children growing in confidence and achieving their goals, no matter how small, it is the best feeling in the world.”

“A sibling relationship is one of the longest relationships you’ll ever have. As a child in care, your sibling is often the only other person that has been through the same experiences as yourself. It is a close bond that should be nurtured wherever possible.”
