Foster Care Fortnight 2018: Helen’s Story

It is Foster Care Fortnight and TACT is taking the opportunity to celebrate its wonderful foster carers who come from a diverse range of backgrounds, circumstances and age groups, but have one very important thing in common – their commitment to providing vulnerable children and young people in care with stable and loving homes.

Today we share Helen’s fostering story. Helen and her husband started fostering 30 years ago and since then they have cared for more than 20 children. At the age of 70, Helen is still enjoying fostering young people.
