Some of our young people in our Yorkshire and the North East regions have nominated their foster carers for an internal foster carer award.

Communication with our children and young people is key at TACT. Gathering their views and feedback is what helps us grow and develop as a charity. In instances such as this, it is a direct reflection of the support and guidance they have received from our foster carers.

These nominations have occurred because our young people have felt cared for and secure, and it is truly heart-warming and a privilege to read some of the poems and letters that our young people have written. Children were even empowered to inform those carers that they had won an award.
